From 1947 MY FAVORITE BRUNETTE is a screwball comedy film starring the king of comedy, Bob Hope, and the ravishing Dorothy Lamour. The story follows Ronnie Jackson (Hope), a baby photographer who becomes entangled in a dangerous plot after the mysterious, beautiful Carlotta (Lamour) walks into his office seeking a private eye. Believing Ronnie to be the detective, she hires him to find her missing uncle. Ronnie soon finds himself deep in a convoluted conspiracy involving a priceless diamond, a sinister gang, and mistaken identities. With Carlotta by his side, he bumbles through kidnappings, narrow escapes, and encounters with eccentric characters, all while trying to outwit the real criminals and clear his name.
